Outreach
At Junipero Serra PTA, we see ourselves as a bridge between our school families and the wonderful community of Ventura. Whether we're partnering with Main Street businesses for fundraiser nights, organizing beach cleanups at Surfers Point, or bringing local farmers, artists, and small business owners onto campus, our goal is to keep our school deeply woven into the fabric of this coastal town we love.
We believe the best schools don't operate in isolation — they grow alongside their communities. So we're always looking for ways to connect our students and families with the people, places, and culture that make Ventura, Ventura.
Youth
Education
At Junipero Serra PTA, we believe youth education is about more than what happens in the classroom. It's about nurturing curious, confident, and kind kids who feel supported at school, at home, and throughout our Ventura community. By bringing families, teachers, and local partners together, we help create the kind of learning experience every child deserves — one rooted in connection, creativity, and care.
Supporting Teachers
At Junipero Serra PTA, supporting our teachers is one of our highest priorities. Our goals are simple: make sure educators feel valued, equipped, and never alone in the important work they do.
That means funding classroom supplies and enrichment materials they shouldn't have to pay for out of pocket, hosting regular appreciation events throughout the year, and rallying parent volunteers to lighten the load wherever we can. We also want to be a strong voice for teachers — listening to what they need, advocating for resources, and partnering with the school and district to help them do their best work.
When our teachers thrive, our students thrive. That's the heart of everything we do.

At Junipero Serra PTA, every donation — big or small — goes directly back into our students, our teachers, and our school community. Your generosity helps fund classroom supplies, enrichment programs, family events, teacher appreciation, and the countless little things that make Junipero Serra a special place to learn and grow.
